Amateur radio stations can be owned and used by individuals and amateur radio organizations. In order to use an amateur radio station, an individual permit for the use of the radio frequency spectrum for personal or club amateur radio stations is required. To obtain an individual permit for the use of the radio frequency spectrum, the following documents must be submitted to RATEL:
· a decision of the Business Registers Agency on the registration of an amateur radio organization (for amateur radio organizations);
· proof of the assigned tax identification number TIN - PIB (for amateur radio organizations);
· a copy of the amateur radio license for an amateur radio station;
· a copy of an ID card (with personal identification number/JMBG and place of residence data);
· proof of payment of the fee for issuing a permit for the use of radio frequencies for an amateur radio station (payment instructions).
· a completed application for the issuance of an individual permit for the use of radio frequencies for a personal amateur radio station (form ZPDLA), or an application for the issuance of an individual permit for the use of radio frequencies for a club amateur radio station (form ZPDKA).
The fee for the issuance of an individual permit for the use of the radio frequency spectrum for a personal or club amateur radio station is determined according to the Rulebook on the amount and method of payment of fees for the provision of services within the competence of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services, which applies from 1.1.2025.
The documentation required for the issuance of an amateur radio permit can also be collected by a radio amateur organization on behalf of its members and submitted collectively to the Regulator by mail or via email: pisarnica@ratel.rs.
