At the invitation of the Chairman of the Committee of the North Macedonian Agency for Electronic Communications (AEK) Prof. Dr. Orcea Simov and the Director of AEK Jeton Akiku, a meeting was held at the AEK headquarters, attended by the Chairman of the Ratel Council Dragan Kovačević, Director Dragan Pejović and Technical Director Dragoljub Stefanović, M.Sc.

At the meeting, also attended by other members of the AEK Committee, topics in the field of electronic communications regulation were discussed. Special attention was paid to cooperation and joint action at the regional level, improvement and introduction of technologically advanced processes, solving current challenges, future aspects of regulation and introduction of tools based on artificial intelligence. In addition, plans and further activities of the radio frequency coordination group, collaboration in the field of roaming and the status of transposition of European regulations into domestic legislation were addressed as well.

Both sides agreed that it is necessary to continue mutual cooperation through further exchange of best practices, both at the level of professional services and at the highest level, which will significantly contribute to the improvement of the work of both regulators.
