With the aim of establishing an efficient and accurate system for recording security incidents, RATEL has developed a portal for entering and reviewing security incident data (the Incident Reporting Portal). This portal enables business entities to easily submit information regarding security incidents, or near-misses (avoided security incidents), in accordance with the Rulebook on the security and integrity of public electronic communications networks and services and terminal equipment.

Pursuant to Article 5 of the aforementioned Rulebook, a business entity is required to notify RATEL without delay, and no later than the next business day following the discovery of a security incident, of any security incident that has significantly impacted its operations and meets the quantitative and qualitative notification criteria prescribed by the Rulebook.
