The Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (RATEL) hosted a meeting of the European Regulators Group for Postal Services (ERGP) WG "Consumers and Core Indicators," held on September 14 and 15, 2026, at RATEL’s premises.

The meeting was attended by 17 representatives from NRAs holding member or observer status within the ERGP. One of the meeting's topics was the preparation of reports to be adopted at the second ERGP plenary session in late November, following prior review at the Contact Network meeting.

The meeting focused on reports regarding postal service quality, consumer protection and complaint handling, as well as key indicators for monitoring the European postal market. Discussions covered data and trends related to postal services, revenues, employment, access points, electric vehicles and other sustainability indicators.

The working group's next meeting is scheduled for February 18 and 19, 2027, in Budapest. ERGP representatives commended RATEL for the successful organization of the meeting and for its hospitality.
