Notification on EKI Database establishment and invitation to operators to submit data
The Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (Ratel) established a database on the type, geographical location and availability of all capacities of the electronic communications network and associated assets (hereinafter: the EKI Database) within the prescribed period.
Operators shall be obliged to submit data on the type, geographical (spatial) location and availability of all capacities of the electronic communications network and associated assets to the Regulator within 12 months from the date of establishment of the EKI Database.
Detailed parameters and categories provided for entry are defined by the Rulebook on the method of data collection, maintenance, access and use of the database on the type, geographical (spatial) location and availability of all capacities of the electronic communications network and associated assets and access to data that may be the subject of shared use, and its related tables ("Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia", No. 12/25).
The entry of data shall be made electronically (by individual manual entry or by sending a file), while the detailed operation as well as the procedure for assigning access credentials are described in the Instructions for Accessing the EKI Database.
We invite operators (owners of electronic communications networks, infrastructure and associated assets) to start entering data into the EKI Database in a timely manner so that this extensive work can be completed within the specified deadline.
Owners of radio base stations and radio stations in radio frequency bands used under the general authorization regime (WAS/RLAN, BFWA, etc) do not need to enter data for these stations, since they have already submitted them to the Regulator. Details on these stations will be automatically visible in the EKI Database and updates will be performed, as before, according to existing procedures (separately from the EKI Database data update routine).
