The Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services, within its legal competence, has adopted the Rulebook on the method of calculating the net cost of the public postal operator and the method of exercising the right to compensation due to unfair financial burden ("Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia" No. 36/26 of 24 April 2026) and the Rulebook on the method of maintaining separate accounting, cost allocation and verification of the credibility of internal accounting of the public postal operator ("Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia" No. 36/26 of 24 April 2026). The aforementioned rulebooks shall enter into force on 2 May 2026, except for the provisions of Articles 3, 4 and 5 of this Rulebook, which shall apply from the date of accession of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union.
