The Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (Ratel) hosted a meeting of the Working Group on Sustainability (ERGP WG Sustainability), within the European Regulators Group for Postal Services (ERGP), held on 9 and 10 September 2025.

During the meeting, representatives of regulatory authorities from Europe worked on the drafting of the Working Group’s annual report for 2025, which is dedicated to technological changes and sustainable solutions in the context of environmental protection in the postal sector.

For the purpose of preparing the report, a survey was conducted among postal operators and regulators across the European Union, including the countries in the process of accession to the EU. The collected and analyzed data were presented during the meeting in Belgrade. The adoption of the report is expected at the second ERGP plenary session, to be held in November 2025.

The European Regulators Group for Postal Services (ERGP) has an advisory role. Its main goal is to help strengthen the single European market for postal services and the consistent application of relevant regulations, through coordinated collaboration among national regulators in the field of postal services and their cooperation with the European Commission.
