The Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (RATEL), in cooperation with the Children's Cultural Center of Belgrade and PE "Srbijašume", successfully implemented the campaign of exchanging electronic waste for a plant, with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of proper e-waste disposal.

The campaign was held in front of the Children's Cultural Center in Belgrade, where citizens could bring electronic devices in exchange for a black pine seedling.

During the campaign, about 1,500 kilograms of electronic waste were collected, of which more than 720 kilograms were usable for recycling. About 1,000 seedlings were distributed, as a symbolic incentive for responsible behavior towards the environment.

RATEL remains committed to raising awareness about the impact of the digital sector and information and communication technology devices on the environment, expressing gratitude to all citizens and partners who supported this initiative.
