The first "Europe & CIS Postal Leaders Forum" was held in Azerbaijan (Baku) from 13 to 15 May 2025, under the title "Navigating in E-Commerce, Innovation and Supply Chain for Future Excellence", organized by the Universal Postal Union and the Government of Azerbaijan, i.e. the national postal operator.

Within the framework of a three-day intensive discussion, postal experts from the region of Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), as well as representatives of external organizations, analyzed current challenges and future scenarios in the following areas: e-commerce growth, development of artificial intelligence and its impact on the postal industry, innovations in postal traffic, changes in logistics processes regarding the provision of postal services, as well as the digital transformation of postal services.

As part of the delegation of the Republic of Serbia, together with representatives of the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications and PE "Post of Serbia", representatives of RATEL, Director of the Postal Services Sector Ljubomir Ostojić and Chief Advisor dr Nikola Trubint, who presented Ratel's experiences and approach in regulating the commercial postal services market within the panel "Developing next generation e-commerce services", also participated in the work of the meeting.
