The Communications Regulatory Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (RAK) hosted last week's meeting with RATEL of the Republic of Serbia, EKIP of Montenegro and AEK of the Republic of North Macedonia. This has been the third meeting of the Cooperation Forum, with implementation of the Agreement on the reduction of roaming prices in the Western Balkans countries and overview of the current situation in the telecommunications sector as topics.

During the meeting, the NRAs' representatives stressed the importance of regulatory cooperation in the region and exchange of experience, with an aim to implement the most efficient models of the electronic communications market regulation.

The hosts of the event concluded that the regional regulators' cooperation is very important from an EU perspective as well – the Western Balkans Digital Agenda, which represents an additional improvement to current telecommunications market regulation, above all designed to benefit the end users.
