As part of cooperation with radio-broadcasters, on December 5, 2018, a meeting was held at RATEL’s premises with representatives of the Association of Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) Radio Stations of Serbia and other radio-broadcasting radio stations’ representatives. The Agency presented its activities and plans regarding operations of radio-broadcasting radio stations (such as spectrum monitoring, measurement of electromagnetic field levels, issuance of individual licenses for radio-frequency usage, use of database of available infrastructure) and national development of future radio technologies (T- DAB and 5G Internet radio). Further RATEL’s plans related to improvement of regulatory environment of radio-broadcasting radio stations on the territory of the Republic of Serbia, including application of corrective measures for possible non-compliance with technical requirements defined in licenses for radio-frequency usage were also presented at the meeting.
