15th ERGP Plenary Meeting held in Belgrade

29.11.2018

On the second day of the ERGP Conference in Belgrade, the Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services presented the situation on the postal market of the Republic of Serbia.

The Plenary Meeting was closed following the adoption of the WGs Reports pursuant to the 2018 Activity Plan, whereas the Activity Plan for 2019 was adopted. Next year, the ERGP Chair will be from Portugal and in 2020 from Greece.

Heads of regulatory agencies accross the EU and our region, as well as from other non-EU countries, attended the Meeting.

This is a unique case of a Plenary Meeting along with an open stakeholder workshop to have taken place in Belgrade, capital of a non-EU country.

The aim of the EU policy is to approach the Western Balkans region and include it as much as possible in its activities.

RATEL’s cooperation with the European regulators and European Commission (observer state as of 2012), has contributed greatly to the work of ERGP.
