07.11.2018

On November 7th, RATEL was the host of the Second meeting of the Forum for Cooperation of the National Regulatory Authorities for Electronic Communications of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and Serbia, attended by the heads of NRAs and their associates. The agenda included key issues for the regional cooperation, concerning the implementation of the regulated roaming charges, analysis of the roaming termination rates, RF spectrum coordination agreements and joint application for projects to be funded by the EU. This form of cooperation and information sharing has proven to be rather constructive and efficient manner of dealing with the issues of interest to the participants of the Forum.

During the Forum, the Cooperation Protocol between the Macedonian NRA (AEK) and the Serbian NRA (RATEL) was signed for the purpose of extending the scope of cooperation, previously defined under the existing Memorandum of Understanding, to the activities concerning the prevention of risks in ICT systems, within the authority of the two NRAs.
