On the margins of the second BEREC Plenary Meeting for 2019, held in Ghent, Belgium, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of electronic communications and postal services between the National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications of Romania (ANCOM) and Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services of the Republic of Serbia (RATEL) was signed.

Recognizing the importance that electronic communications and postal services have in the development of social and economical welfare of Romania and Serbia, dr Vladica Tintor, Director of RATEL, and Sorin Grindeanu, President of ANCOM, have signed the MoU between the two agencies, with the aim to improve cooperation and activities regarding exchange of information, experience and documents in the area of electronic communications and postal regulation development in these countries.
