Information regarding the conformity assessment procedure for the radio equipment and telecommunications terminal equipment

Pursuant to Art. 44 of the Law on Electronic Communications (Official Gazette of RS no. 44/10) and the Rules on the radio equipment and telecommunications terminal equipment (Official Gazette of RS no. 11/12, hereinafter: Rules on RTT equipment), the Republic Agency for Electronic Communications (hereinafter: Agency) is the designated body for the assessment of RTT equipment conformity with the requirements stipulated under the Rules on RTT equipment, by the decision of the Ministry of Culture, Media and Information Society, no. 119-01-00168/2011-06 of 29 May 2012.

The scope of the conformity assessment activities, type, group and/or names of the RTT equipment subject to assessment are set out under the aforementioned Decision.

For the purpose of the Decision implementation, the Agency will adopt and publish on its website the procedures concerning the activities related to the RTT equipment conformity assessment and the issuance of the certificate of conformity and/or excerpt from the register of the issued certificates of conformity, as well as the instructions on the certificate of conformity usage and conformity mark, as soon as possible.
