Multilateral Technical Arrangement on Border Coordination of IMT/UMTS Systems in GSM Bands

The text of the Technical Arrangement on Border Coordination of IMT/UMTS Systems in the Bands 880 - 915/925 - 960 MHz (GSM 900 MHz band) and 1710 - 1785/1805 - 1880 MHz (GSM 1800 MHz band) was agreed on a meeting held on Occtober 27 and 28, 2010, in Budapest.
The representatives of the Republic Agency for Electronic Communications participated in creating the text of the Arrangement, which was then signed by the representatives of the national frequency management authorities of Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Romanla, Serbia, The Slovak Republic, Slovenia and Ukraine, on October 28, 2010, in Budapest.
The Arrangement is based on relevant recommendations from the Decision ECC/DEC/(06)13, while the principles of coodrination between the GSMandIMT/UMTS systems and between the two IMT/UMTSwere based on the recommendation ЕСС/REC(08)02.
The Arrangement will enable the implementation of new technologies and services within the existing GSM frequency bands.-
